Chrissy Green is the owner and president.  Chrissy's passion for kids is manifested through her varied experience in education.  She began her career in education as a middle school teacher before moving to Sylvan Learning Centers where she advanced to a Director of Education.  After having her first child, she began working part time and taught Homebound to students of all ages and Intervention to elementary school school students until 2016.

Chrissy and her husband Jefferson have three daughters, ages 8, 10, and 12 in grades 3, 5, and 7.  They view family as a top priority and strive to provide you with childcare specialists that will serve as an extension of you.

Hello, I’m Abigail! My hobbies include cooking, running, yoga, hiking, traveling, cleaning, writing poetry, and playing with my golden retriever. I have  four years of experience babysitting. I also have experience working with my mothers special-ed preschool class. I love children’s innocence and curious manner towards life. I enjoy getting creative with them and helping them explore their mind, talents, and the world.



Hi my name is Aileen! I’m currently a senior at VCU majoring in Forensic Science Biology. I enjoy spending quality time with my family, playing soccer outside, taking my dog on walks and dancing! I have 5 years of experience with taking care of children, as I have always watched my little cousins too. Hi! My name is Alex, I go to VCU and my major is exercise science. I plan to graduate in Spring 2021. I really enjoy going to the beach, baking and cooking as well as traveling and trying new things. I have been watching children since about the age of 14 and the thing that I enjoy most about this job is just being able to be around such happy individuals. Children just have a different light to them and it is so nice to be able to have that energy contributed to your day!



Hi, I'm Allie! I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in May of 2018 with a degree in Photography and Film, with a concentration in Film and a certificate in Global Education. I have worked with children for over 7 years as a babysitter, mother's helper, nanny, recreational instructor, art teacher, and camp counselor. I enjoy working with children because of their curiosity and humor towards the world around them-- I love that I get the opportunity to explore and be silly with them.

When not working with Capital City Childcare, I am passionate about working with animals. I am the Marketing Coordinator for FETCH a Cure, a non-profit focused on furthering education and treatment of pets with cancer, and I also provide photography and videography services to local animal shelters. Not to mention, I love spending time with my own rescue dog, Luna!



Anna is a full time and part time nanny. She is an enthusiastic worker who truly has a passion for working with children. With a bachelors degree in social work and art, she recently started pursuing her masters in social work specializing in children and family studies. Anna is the oldest of four children and grew up assisting with childcare of her own siblings in addition to neighbors, specifically a family with six young children. She has ample experience with behavioral issues due to working in a therapeutic residential facility for two years. Here she practiced integrating an abundance of patience and creativity in exploring expressive avenues to better understand and assist the child. She enjoys thinking ‘outside of the box’ to assist children in need, specifically in using creativity and artistic skills.



Hi, my name is Brice! I am a junior at Virginia Commonwealth University, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science (HPEX). I am a Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a CPR/first aid certification. I have five years of childcare experience. Hey everyone! My name is Brittney. I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University Fall 2018 with a Bachelors Degree in Science and a concentration in Biology. I am now in nursing school. Hi, my name is Caitlin. I am a sophomore at the University of South Carolina. I'm majoring in Computer Information Systems within the engineering school. I love to dance because I used to do ballet for years and I also love technology especially coding. I love to keep myself busy with things such as shopping, traveling, hanging with friends, and cooking. I started taking care of children when my cousin was born. I was 10 at the time and have babysat him and his 2 little brothers ever since. Hi! I’m Chante and I am a senior at Virginia Union University, studying Psychology and Biology. I aspire to become either a Pediatric Occupational Therapist or a Forensic Psychologist, as well as a Dance Studio Owner. Some of my interests include dancing, listening to music, taking beach trips, going to amusement/theme parks, working out, and cooking/baking! I have been working with children for 7 years now! I have worked as a dance instructor’s assistant, nanny, teacher at child development centers, and a youth counselor with the YMCA. The things that I enjoy most about working with children are the bonds that are formed, being able to positively impact a child, and being able to become a role model to children. I adore children, and I love that I can gain wisdom and learn from them as well. 



Hello! My name is Deona, or Dee for short. I am currently a first-year graduate student in the Counselor Education program at Virginia Commonwealth University. I aspire to be a high school counselor one day because I love working with the youth. My favorite things to do is be around my loved ones, read, observe the beauty of life, challenge myself, and try new things! I began babysitting my younger cousins around the age of fifteen. My favorite part about childcare is the positive influence I am able to have on a child’s life. Children are so precious, and I enjoy their ability watch them grow, laugh, learn, and enjoy the little things in life.

Hi there! My name is Emily! I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in May of 2017 with my Masters Degree in Teaching. I currently work for Richmond Public Schools in Second Grade and love every minute of it! Teaching is something I’ve always loved doing, and have worked in childcare for the majority of my life. I began babysitting around my neighborhood when I was 12 and have continued to do so. I have also worked at several childcare facilities and 2 elementary schools. I am Fatima Tariq, a 20 year old Psychology student at Virginia Commonwealth University. I am a full-time student and researcher and work with the Social Psychology and Neuroscience Lab to run studies on human behavior and genetics. My interests include research, reading, writing, listening to music, watching TV, and spending time outdoors. I also love spending time with children and often volunteer at Safe Harbor’s domestic violence emergency shelters to watch children for clients. I have been watching children since I was 11 years old through summer camps, tutoring, and volunteering. I have worked with kids from 3 months to teenagers and I love spending time with every age group. My favorite part about working with kids is seeing how differently they view the world, and how unique each child is with their personality, wants, and needs. I aim to provide each family with quality care, and make sure the child and parents are left delighted with my services at the end of the day.
